Hi! I’m Kathleen. I am a “word person.”

I’m a storyteller, writer, editor, and communications leader.

In 2019, I completed my Publishing diploma at Langara College, which strengthened my content creation skills and gave me a solid foundation in the Adobe Creative Suite. During the program, I was an Editorial Assistant for Langara’s Alumni & Community Engagement department, as well as Managing Editor/Online Editor for Pacific Rim Magazine.

Since then, I’ve worked for Geist Magazine and Central 1, and now I’m the Communications Lead at Anxiety Canada. In my role, I spearhead strategic initiatives to elevate our online presence and engagement. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for impactful storytelling, I manage and coordinate website content and drive effective social media marketing campaigns. Crafting compelling copy and artwork, I ensure our digital platforms and marketing collateral reflect our mission and resonate with our audience. In addition to applying creativity and leaning into my artistic side, I methodically analyze and optimize content performance to inform media planning.
